Born in Veracruz, Mexico, and raised in Miami, Florida, Fernando Lugo is an award-winning director known for his distinctive visual storytelling and innovative approach to narrative, music videos and commercial projects.

With over 15 years of directing experience, Fernando has collaborated with global icons like Drake, Bad Bunny, Enrique Iglesias, Rosalia, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Cardi B, Peso Pluma, Anuel, Feid, Wisin y Yandel, Jennifer Lopez, Romeo Santos, Christian Nodal and cultural figures like Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Fernando’s work has earned him critical acclaim, including a VMA Award nomination, and spans music videos and major commercial campaigns for brands like Call of Duty, Coca-Cola, Corona Beer, and Dunkin’ Donuts, with three of his music videos ranked among the best of the 2010 decade.

In 2019, Fernando founded Hero-Kids Creatives, a creative collective focused on nurturing and empowering a new generation of bold visual talent. Now expanding into feature films, Fernando continues to push creative boundaries with a bold vision for the future of cinema.
